History
More was formed in July 2018, and is comprised of Asylum-Seekers, Refugees and Local Allies. Collectively we are campaigning for Asylum-Seekers Rights to work, right to access full time college and University Education as Home students, right to decent housing, and right to be treated with dignity.
We are a constituted grassroots group who prides ourselves on our "3D" approach in all that we do, therefore our campaign is Designed, Developed and Delivered by persons with lived experience of the Asylum System.
Our Values
Empowerment: Our fundamental principle is create an environment and access resources which enables disenfranchised and marginalised Asylum seekers to identify, engage and successfully challenge socio-political and socio-economical structures which permeates and negatively impacts all aspects of their lives.
Learning and working together-Through mutual respect, working and learning together we aim to develop Resilience,Social capital, personal and collective capacity through skills share with allies and working collaboratively with different groups and organisations.
Self-determination- we value the lived experience of International Protection Applicants and recognise them as the only experts in determining, taking the lead, initiating actions and working collaboratively with allies to take collectively action.
